Lampard and Kalou on Barcelona

Two players of Chelsea FC gave an interesting interview on Champions league semi-finals agains’t Barcelona.

Lampard: “Everyone’s got unfinished business with them. You have to respect they’re the greatest team in the world; they have been and still are at the present time.”

“That game is still in our minds, but this is a completely different year so we need to try and beat them. Obviously they’re going to be favourites because of the way they’re playing”

Kalou: “We’re in the semi-finals and we must concentrate on Barcelona. They’re a great team, but over two legs, it’s possible. We’ve seen how Mourinho’s Inter caused them problems two years ago.”

Allegri concerned

“We will play against Barca, but right now we have to think about Roma, who are very tough side to beat. After Saturday’s game, we will have nine matches remaining, and keeping our four-point lead at the top will be important.”

“That is why we have to think only about Roma and not Barca, just like it happened against Juventus in the Coppa Italia. Roma hold possession very well, and they have improved when they are not in possession.”

On media reports that Berlusconi accused him for most of injuries because of his training methods: “I spoke to him after the match against Parma, he only asked about those who were injured and if the players were tired.  He tends to protect the players, he wants them to rest. But muscular problems are fewer than it may seem.  We must still improve on this matter.”

Guardiola on Primera league chances

“We are behind them (Real Madrid), but it is clear that it is better for us that they draw than win. Six points are fewer than 10, but the difference is still a lot. Madrid have two draws in a row, but it does not mean they will draw the rest of their games.”

“What usually happens is that Madrid win almost all of their matches. That is why the distance is so significant. That is why I said the Liga title was lost. It was a comment purely based on sporting matters.”

“I did not watch Madrid’s game against Villarreal, so I have no opinion about it. When I learned about the draw, I was happier than I would be if they had won, but I slept at night the exact same way. Some of us have families, wives and children. I have watched many of Madrid’s matches, but not this one.”

On next match agains’t Mallorca: “They are going through their best moment in the season. They have a very intense and dynamic team and put a lot of pressure up on the field.”

Messi: A dream came true

“The truth is that I am overjoyed. I never dreamed that one day I could be Barcelona’s top scorer. I don’t know if it was my best goal. When a game finishes, the first goal I scored for Barcelona, just like the last one and just like all the others, they are all very special to me.”
