Roma goalkeeper Alisson to captain Brazil against Russia

The shot-stopper with become the 15th captain under Tite’s rotational policy while Douglas Costa and Thiago Silva will be handed starts

Alisson will captain Brazil on Friday when the Selecao meet World Cup hosts Russia in Moscow.

The Roma goalkeeper will be the 15th player to captain Brazil in 18 matches under current coach Tite.

Following Friday’s clash at the Luzhniki, Gabriel Jesus will be the only member of Tite’s preferred starting XI not to have worn the armband.
