Arsenal turn to Aubameyang
Arsenal will look to make a January move for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if Alexis Sanchez leaves during the transfer window, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
Alexis continues to be linked with Manchester City as his contract continues to run down at the Emirates Stadium.
And the Gunners have started making contingency plans, with Aubameyang their primary target given his willingness to leave the Bundesliga giants.
Mourinho urges £50m Rose bid
Jose Mourinho has urged the Manchester United board to make a £50 million bid for Tottenham full-back Danny Rose, according to The Sun.
Mourinho has been a long-term admirer of the England international as he looks to upgrade on his current left-back options.
And though Rose is likely to be out for three weeks with a knee injury, Mourinho wants to get him in before the end of the January transfer window.
Alexis agrees Man City move
Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has verbally agreed to join Manchester City, according to Marca.
The Chile international almost joined City last summer and looks set to run his contract – which is up at the end of the season – down at the Emirates Stadium.
A number of European clubs have tried to make approaches for the former Barcelona man, but they have been told Alexis is only interested in joining City having spoken to Pep Guardiola.
Inter monitoring Mata situation
Inter are keen on signing Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Spain international is out of contract at the end of the current season, though has an option to extend his current deal for another year.
And the Serie A side are hopefully they can tempt the former Chelsea man to San Siro.
Man Utd fear Mourinho will quit
Manchester United fear manager Jose Mourinho will resign at the end of the season, according to the Daily Mail.
The former Chelsea boss has been spending less and less time in Manchester of late after a run of disappointing results for the Red Devils.
And the United hierarchy feel his heart is no longer in it and he could be set to depart this summer.
PSG target summer move for Conte
Paris Saint-Germain are set to move for Chelsea manager Antonio Conte this summer, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
Despite sitting pretty at the top of Ligue 1 and having flown through the Champions League group stages, the Parisiens’ hierarchy are not happy with Unai Emery.
And they believe they can take advantage of the uncertainty regarding Conte’s future at Stamford Bridge to tempt him to the French capital.
Mourinho to block Mkhitaryan exit
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is set to block Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s exit during the January transfer window, according to the Daily Star.
Inter have shown an interest in the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder, with Joao Mario offered as part of a potential swap deal.
But Mourinho is keen to keep the Armenia international despite him slipping down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
West Ham join Walcott race
West Ham are the latest club to show an interest in Arsenal winger Theo Walcott, according to the Daily Express.
The England international has barely featured for the Gunners in the Premier League this season and looks set to depart in January.
Everton and Newcastle are also keen on signing him, but Sky Sports report Southampton are leading the way to sign their former academy graduate.
Watford eye Markovic move
Watford are targeting a January move for Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic, according to the Daily Star.
Markovic impressed under Hornets boss Marco Silva at Hull City last season, and the Portuguese coach is keen to reunite with the former Benfica man.
The Vicarage Road outfit are also keen on Leicester City striker Islam Slimani and Sunderland midfielder Didier Ndong.
Newcastle make Deeney top target
Newcastle have made Watford striker Troy Deeney their top target for the January transfer window, according to ESPN.
The Magpies have made an enquiry as to whether the Hornets captain would be available having been in and out of the side under Marco Silva.
Madrid to bid €150m + Bale for Kane
Real Madrid are set to bid €150 million plus Gareth Bale to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane, according to Sport .
Los Blancos value Bale at around €50m, meaning their total bid would be somewhere close to €200m.
They could face competition from Manchester United for the England striker, however, with the Red Devils keen to bolster their own forward line.
Arsenal complete Mavropanos signing
Arsenal have completed the signing of Konstantinos Mavropanos from Greek side PAS Giannina, Goal understands.
The Gunners’ new chief scout Sven Mislintat has close ties to the 20-year-old centre-back, who has also attracted interest from Olympiakos, and the Premier Leaguehave snapped him up in a deal worth £1.8 million.

Paris Saint-Germain are set to make a January move for Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri, according to the Daily Mail .
The 26-year-old almost joined Barcelona in the summer, but a £32.5 million bid was rejected by the Ligue 1 side.
Liverpool and Manchester City have also been keeping tabs on Seri’s progress, but the Parisiens are keen to win the race over the next month.
Lemar decides to join Liverpool
Monaco star Thomas Lemar has decided to join Liverpool ahead of Arsenal and Manchester United, according to Yahoo Sports .
Arsenal tried to sign Lemar last summer, but failed to finalise a €95 million deal on deadline day which, in turn, prevented Alexis Sanchez from joining Manchester City.
Liverpool were also interested in Lemar in the last transfer window and are ready to make a renewed push to sign the France international in January, with Barcelona trying to agree a deal for Philippe Coutinho.
Manchester United have also been linked with Lemar, but the winger has decided he wants to join Liverpool and he could become the replacement for Coutinho at Anfield.
