The new Premier League season may start on Friday with Leicester City’s trip to the Emirates Stadium, but the real action kicks off on Thursday with the first episode of the new series of Studs Up – Goal’s weekly football show on Facebook and YouTube.
With new features, guests and presenters, the second series of Studs Up promises to be even better than the first, giving fans a weekly dose of football chat, big match previews and plenty of fun.
This series, Studs Up will be going on tour, broadcasting from a number of venues across the UK (and maybe even abroad). The first episode will be broadcast from Highbury in London, as James Sherwood and Rachel Stringer welcome Joel Beya as their guest.
As well as previewing the new season, James and Rachel will be looking back over a summer of football madness. The Sure Pressure Index returns, as the team run the numbers to find out which players have managed to handle pressure the best this week.
Worst of the Week is back too, as a new guest each week tells us which characters and events in football have wound them up over the past seven days, with the final choice coming from the week’s star guest.
New for series two is the Virgin Media Six Pointer – a quiz that will test the guest’s football and pop culture knowledge, with a little help from Opta’s stats.
