Tottenham Hotspur have launched a late bid to sign Juventus midfielder Emre Can before Friday’s transfer deadline, though they are one of many contenders for his services.
The German has made only three starts for the Old Lady since Maurizio Sarri’s appointment last summer, having made 37 appearances during his debut season. That has led to months of speculation regarding Can’s future in Turin, with English rivals Manchester United, Arsenal and Everton all interested.

That’s an option that would suit United and both north London teams, with the trio all receiving a boost in their pursuit of the Bianconeri outcast following comments from the club’s director of football
“He has a lot of suitors all over Europe, seeing as he is one of the best midfielders on the continent, so that is only natural.”
Though Paratici’s words will encourage the four Premier League teams who are tacking Can, Dortmund can offer him the chance to return to his home country, and it seems they have a verbal agreement in place.
It shouldn’t be long before BVB accept Juve’s demands and wrap up their second signing of the month.
