The winger scored his side’s second in a 2-1 victory over the Brazilian in the Copa Sudamericana away from home on Thursday, completing a break with a fizzing low shot that zipped into the net from well outside the box.
His strike means that Flamengo have a mountain to climb in the last-16 second leg, though Alan Patrick gave the hosts some hope with a strike after the interval.
