RUMOURS: Napoli turn down Everton's €25m Gabbiadini bid

Ronald Koeman is chasing the 24-year-old but last term’s Serie A runners-up intend to secure his replacement before releasing him to the Premier League outfit

Everton are looking to add Manolo Gabbiadini to their attack this summer but Napoli have turned down their opening bid, reports Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Toffees have lodged an offer of €25 million for the Italy striker, who is unlikely to feature in Maurizio Sarri’s starting XI despite the departure of Gonzalo Higuain.

However, Napoli have rejected their offer for a player currently serving as back-up to summer arrival Arkadiusz Milik.

The Serie A club are open to a sale but intend to secure the signing of Leonardo Pavoletti from Genoa first in order to complete their own numbers in attack.
