Barcelona are on the brink of securing the signature of Paco Alcacer from Valencia, with the forward having completed a medical on Monday morning.
Luis Enrique’s side have spent much of August pursuing the Spain international attacker but appear to have finally got their man, Goal understands.
The 22-year-old attacker, who has scored 24 goals in the last two Primera Division campaigns, had been due to join up with the Spain national team but arrived late for their meeting due to his commitments with Barca.

The Catalan side will pay €30 million for the striker, with an additional €5m in reserve as potential bonuses for the selling club.
In addition, Goal understands Munir El Haddadi has agreed terms over a loan switch to Valencia.
While the deal is not part of any agreement for Alcacer, Munir will not be announced as a new Los Che player until the 22-year-old has sealed his move to Camp Nou.
